You may be asked to provide personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number when making a contribution. Personal identifying information is not otherwise collected by this Site. We may share this information with third-party vendors as necessary to process your contribution. Such vendors are contractually prohibited from using or sharing your personal data for any other purpose.

This Site does not collect personal information about individuals except when knowingly provided by such individuals.  Represent Women will sometimes make available personal information provided by Site visitors to third parties for communications consistent with our mission. In addition to the disclosures otherwise permitted by this privacy policy, Represent Women may disclose personal information in special cases: (1) when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or property of Represent Women or a third party; (2) when we believe in good faith that the law requires it; and (4) in situations involving threats to the physical safety of any person.

4. Cookies

Visitors should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected on the Site through the use of “cookies.” Cookies are small text files (no larger than 4k) stored as text on a computer hard drive. Web sites can use cookies to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the visitor that has no meaning outside the assigning site. Represent Women use cookie technology only to obtain non-personal information from its online visitors in order to improve visitors’ online experience and facilitate their visit within our site.
