The National Organization for Women Foundation was established in 1986 as a 501(c)(3) education and litigation organization allied with the National Organization for Women, the largest feminist activist organization in the United States with its national offices in Washington, D.C. and hundreds of affiliates across the country. The Foundation works to enhance the status of women in the United States and around the world through many strategies, including advocacy, litigation and education.
